Parkes and his friend Baylor went to the Philip's Toy Mart today and had so much fun watching the train, climbing up in the club house and playing with all the other toys they had out. Then they went and ate together at The Picnic where Baylor's mom and I could sit down instead of chasing them around the store. The weather people called for really bad storms around Nashville and they closed all the schools early, but over at our house we didn't see anything more then little spurts of heavy rain. I'm guessing it was that way everywhere because they didn't interrupt my soap to give a weather update so there were a lot of happy school kids today.
