Parkes was scared of the fireworks this year which is so funny because a year and a half ago when we went to aruba for new year's the fireworks didn't bother him at all, but instead he enjoyed watching them. And in aruba they don't have the fireworks we have here...they are just rows of dynamite and it sounds like you are in a war zone when they set them off. The biggest one we saw while we were down there had 3 million fireworks on it and lasted 15 minutes to go off. Here's Brandon and his brother,Brian, with just a small 500,000 firework. 
Then last 4th he liked the fireworks as well, but this year we went outside to do some fireworks with the neighbors and the first one that went off he started crying and said that he wanted to go inside. So for the rest of the night this is how we watched Daddy set off the fireworks.
