Halloween morning came early for our family with Parkes running his first 1 mile kid's marathon. He ran with his Marathon Kids teacher and we thought that we might have some down time while he ran, but much to our surprise his little legs came running back in at a time of 12:55
We were so proud of him and he loved every minute of it plus he got his named called out in school for being the only kindergartener to run the race.
Then we rested and got ready for a big night of trick or treating with the neighbors and friends. All the boys decided to go as the Alabama football team complete with coach and old school player. I had to represent Ole Miss and go as Rebel Black Bear.
We had a great night as this year trick or treating on our street was very exciting as the kids get older on the street. Parkes came home with 5 lbs of candy!!!
